While still in need of knowledge he practiced with the late Ramon Lono Ancho, be which gave Poly Martin a great insides in the martial arts and certified him a 5 Dan in Ju-Jutsu in 1995 .under the Daito Ryu system
The Shihan in Costa Rica title was given in year 2000 by great grand master Dr. Philip Chenique. Year pasts and after a 37 year trajectory in the martial arts he saw himself developing a system that adapted to his history and knowledge in the martial arts. What system is called ISHINKAN BUDO. ISHINKAN BUDO has it own katas that apply in each individual system of exams like in Ju Jutsu, ken-Jutsu and Aikido.

What is ISHINKAN BUDO? - The path of the martial arts in which the will and heart comes together. | I | means “signify or will” | | SHIN | means “mind or heart” | | KAN | means “headquarter or school | | BUDO | means “the way of war or martial arts” |
So ISHINKAN BUDO is a style of BUDO (martial arts) That translated “the school of will and heart”- “the school of the sense of the mind”- “the school of the will and heart”
