All these arts he practiced during those times of his life and still not satisfied. At a great time came Dr. Philip Chenique to Shihan Poly Martin life. At the age of 22 he saw a ad in the yellow pages and found that there was some one teaching Ju-jitsu, well to his over well he visited the dojo and was surprise by the thing he saw there it was everything he was looking for ju-jitsu, the very art he started at the beginning of his martial arts career. Again Ju-jitsu was still not enough so he started with Ken-Jutsu and later on in the year preceded to practice Aikido. The Atemi-Ryu Dojo in Florida was very versatile, as there not only ju-jitsu but ken-Jutsu aikido and Arnis at that time later on there came in kung fu, with a student call Rick Hernandez of Atemi Ryu school which had join in around in the beginning of 1980, and Shihan did ba kua and Hsing Yi and a little of Wing Chun, Tai chi was also something that fascinated him, but the japanes arts was still his Mayer interest. So as life went on, for the Shihan after joining the Atemi Ryu Dojo family, his main concentration was to continue with Ju-Jutsu, ken-Jutsu, and Aikido. After studying for a period over 27 years. In 1992 Shihan Poly Martin moved to Costa Rica in Centro America.

There he started his mission. He became and was recognized as the Father and pioneer of Aikido and Ken Jutsu in Costa Rica, and still teaching Ju-Jutsu as his main and highest rank.
